Allison Roedell obtained a graduate degree in Fine Arts Education from Kean University and taught art to all grade levels in New Jersey. After moving to North Carolina in 2007, she secured a middle school art teaching position and later established her first art teaching business called "ART from the HEART." Allison completed an undergraduate degree in Accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant. She is a Landmark Education graduate and continues to participate in personal development seminars.

After living in New Jersey most of her life and North Carolina for 3 years, Allison, her husband Jeff and their two dogs - Biscuit and Bailey moved to San Diego, California. Allison enjoys working with different art materials - drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, and mixed media. In addition to art, she spends a lot of time outdoors - hiking, mountain biking/cycling, exploring new areas and  taking many photographs. She also practices yoga and weight trains. Allison and her husband enjoy live theatre, especially musicals - they absolutely love "Wicked!"
